Cheswick Green Playgroup - Playgroup Staff
Here at Cheswick Green Pre-School Playgroup we currently employ three full-time members of staff. Our Supervisor is fully qualified and all staff have been confirmed as "fit persons" to look after children by Social Services. Regular staff meetings are held, at which such matters as curriculum planning, 'key worker' reports and events and problems/worries are discussed. All our members of staff are committed to further training and current skills and knowledge are regularly reviewed and up-dated. An important part of Cheswick Green Pre-School Playgroup is you the Parents/Carers! You play a vital role working in partnership with the staff, sharing your skills/opinions and supporting fundraising efforts to provide quality care for your children.
Lesley Stevens
Lesley Stevens is employed as one of two Joint Supervisors and is the Equal Opportunities representative. She is a mother of three children, two of which have attended Playgroup, Twos and Mother and Toddler at Cheswick Green Under Fives. Lesley holds a Pre-School Learning Alliance - Diploma in Pre-School Practice. She also holds the Introduction to Pre-School Practice certificate.
Rochelle Plumb
Rochelle is employed as the second Joint Supervisor and as our Special Needs and Behavioural representative. Rochelle is a mother of two children and also a registered childminder. She holds an NVQ III and Diploma in Preschool Practice. She also holds a current first aid certificate. Rochelle deals with all Playgroup Administration matters such as applications, fees and the parent/carer rota.
Sharon Linekar
Sharon has recently become a full-time member of staff. She has three children of her own, two of which have attended Cheswick Green Playgroup. She has recently completed her certificate in First Aid, Health and Safetly and is the process of completing a course on Food Hygiene.
Lesley and Rochelle have attended "Topstart" physical education training alongside staff members from Cheswick Green School.
